Riko Shirano (played by Miku Maeda) is a dating simulation game designer who specializes in writing scripts for romance games, filling her mind with unrealistic fantasies about love, while feeling disappointed by the inept men in reality and her relationships with them. Soichiro Kurokawa (played by Issei Takahashi) is the president of an app company who approaches Riko to commission a mobile dating game. Although Soichiro is good-looking, he is completely oblivious to the complexities of women's hearts. His straightforwardness leads to many conflicts with Riko, even resulting in intense arguments. In fact, Soichiro has been secretly in love with his subordinate, Momose (played by Aya Ohmasa), and struggling with how to express his feelings, he turns to Riko for "relationship guidance." With Riko's help, the distance between Soichiro and Momose starts to close, while Riko realizes, amidst her deep sense of loss, that she seems to have fallen in love with Soichiro.
