This film is adapted from the classic work "Le Horla" by French literary master Maupassant; the protagonist narrates in the first person. It portrays the protagonist's anxiety and panic through diary entries: he feels the presence of an invisible entity around him and names it "Le Horla." He starts off lucid but gradually descends into madness as he tries to escape the invisible control of Le Horla.
