Hiroshi Ohno (played by Ryo Narita) teaches at a cram school. Although he has handsome looks and a high IQ, he easily gains others' affection. However, due to his one-track mind and almost nonexistent emotional intelligence, Ohno has zero romantic experience. Every date he goes on with girls ends in failure. Despite this, Ohno still harbors dreams about love and marriage and doesn't realize where his problems lie, until one day a student named Kaori Akimoto (played by Kōki Fujita) points out his issue—he simply doesn’t know how to date. So, how can he become good at dating? Ohno sends a distress signal to Akimoto, the only person he can rely on. Although Akimoto has abundant theoretical knowledge about love, her practical experience is also zero. Thus, the two dating novices embark on a quest to understand love.
