One day, when he reports to the production team, he is amazed to discover that the actress playing the female lead, Bai Yun, resembles the real-life person she's based on. As filming begins, Zheng Tian seems to return to his former life: A lost his mother at a young age, and after his father remarried, he was abandoned and lived on the streets, gradually falling into a life of crime. He teams up with Yuan Yuan, using Dan Dan's looks as bait to rob taxis and pedestrians at night, living a life of luxury and extravagance. Yet sometimes, he offers to fix bicycles for free on the street and gives up his seat on the bus to women holding babies. He believes that human nature is half devil and half angel. One day, he meets Bai Yun, an art school student, at a subway station, and they are instantly attracted to each other. Upon learning about A's past, Bai Yun forgives him. A vows to Bai Yun to leave his life of crime behind. However, when old accomplices reappear, he succumbs to temptation and falls back into a life of crime.
