Lawyer Macy (played by Sammi Cheng) has a one-night stand with advertising company owner Robert (played by Zhang Zhao-hui), who is accused of domestic abuse, resulting in Macy's pregnancy. Conflicted, she attends a single mother support group, where she unexpectedly encounters her high school sweetheart Anita (played by Vivian Chow). Previously, Anita had a one-night stand with nineteen-year-old Mike (played by William Chan) during their first date, also resulting in pregnancy. As romantic memories come flooding back, they realize they still love each other and decide to reunite. Anita wants to live with Macy and co-parent their kids, but Macy is afraid to take on the emotional commitment. Her friends Huihui (played by Gu Zu-lin) and Eleanor (played by Jessica Hsuan) are also worried about her. Meanwhile, Anita faces unfair treatment at work, prompting Huihui and Eleanor to gather a group of LGBTQ individuals for a protest. Macy confronts her unstable feelings for the first time. Robert and Mike, as the fathers of the children, also want to take responsibility. Will Macy eventually bravely accept her duties? What fate awaits these four who break conventional gender roles?
