The film tells the story of the famous Austrian writer Stefan Zweig's exile journey in New York, Brazil, and other places after being expelled by the Nazis. Zweig came from a wealthy Jewish family and became a renowned literary master by the age of thirty, with his works widely sold both domestically and abroad. However, after the Nazis rose to power, his books were banned in Germany and Austria, and he embarked on a journey of exile, eventually dying in a foreign land. Throughout his life, Zweig wrote about and sympathized with the unfortunate experiences of many, and his own misfortune also evoked sympathy from others.
