In an accident, the public relations director of a dance troupe, Fang Jieying (played by Wang Xiaofeng), has a conflict with five men who came to watch the performance and is violently assaulted by them. Deeply traumatized, she also falls ill and suffers physically. In her despair and anger, Fang Jieying resolves to find these five men and seek revenge. Thus, she follows in their footsteps and boards a ship bound for Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, with nowhere to go and no money, Fang Jieying unexpectedly meets her sister's ex-boyfriend, Zhou Junxiong (played by Lam Ching Ying), while looking for a job at a bar, and receives help from the bartender, Susan (played by Xue Zhiling). She finally finds work. In a twist of fate, Fang Jieying encounters one of her enemies, sets a trap, and kills him, causing the other four to become wary and actively seek out her whereabouts, intending to take the initiative against her.
