Ah Mei (played by Joey Wang) inadvertently becomes a witness to a jewelry robbery. The leader of the pickpockets, Roy (played by Chang Yao-Yang), takes advantage of the chaos to slip a priceless diamond necklace into Ah Mei's bag. At this crucial moment, Ah Mei learns that her boyfriend has been kidnapped by criminals in Yangon, Myanmar, who demand a ransom of $200,000 within three days, or her boyfriend will lose his life. Ah Mei decides to use the diamond necklace she has. On the other hand, the owner of the diamond necklace finds Roy and orders him to locate the necklace within five days. Thus, both Ah Mei and Roy board a plane to Yangon. Unexpectedly, mid-flight, the plane encounters a storm and is forced to land in Mandalay, where a fierce and chaotic civil war is taking place. With gunfire all around, can the two of them safely reach their destination?
