A year ago, Sergeant Joseph Smith (played by Jason Statham), a member of a special forces unit, experienced unimaginable bloodshed on the battlefield in Afghanistan. Due to a certain incident, he was charged by a military court and diagnosed with explosive stress disorder. Afterward, Joseph escaped from the hospital and struggled to survive among the homeless. He took on the alias Joey and teamed up with a girl named Isabel (played by Victoria Bewick).
