"Blue Sky and White Clouds" tells the story of a mysterious murder case. A high school student named Connie (played by Liang Yongting) is born with a heart defect, has few friends, and plans to murder her parents but knows she's physically weak. Therefore, she decides to drag her classmate Eric (played by Gu Dingxuan) into it, and the two become accomplices. After the parricide, Connie shows no remorse, and the case is taken over by the female detective Angela (played by Deng Lixin) from the major crimes unit. Newlywed Angela lives with her father (played by Huang Shutang), who suffers from dementia, and her husband Tony (played by Li Renshen).
