During an undercover investigation of beggars, "Bai Xue," an intern reporter for "Hotspot Weekly," encounters a mysterious beggar who generously helps others—"Qin Jun." During the investigation, Bai Xue finds that Qin Jun only asks for food, not money, and his behavior is extremely unusual. She then follows Qin Jun to a place called "Hejia Village," where he is met with sarcasm from friends and family, which he ignores. This piques Bai Xue's curiosity. However, just as she plans to interview Qin Jun, she discovers he has already left the village. Filled with doubt, after some investigation, Bai Xue uncovers that Qin Jun's true identity is actually the president of a corporate group. Why is he disguising himself as a beggar? Why did he quietly leave after returning to his hometown? What will his friends and family think when they discover his true identity? Let's wait and see... In the "Microfilm Version of Naked Return," Qin Jun, a corporate executive worth hundreds of millions, deliberately poses as a beggar to return to his hometown after being away for five years. The friends and family who used to surround him now mock him. However, once they learn his true identity, they become warm and friendly. Faced with this false affection, Qin Jun feels heartbroken and sighs: When you are affluent, not all who gather around you are true friends, but when you are in hardship, those who stay by your side are surely real people! Compared to the microfilm version, the movie version has a richer and deeper storyline and character relationships, explaining why Qin Jun had been unreachable for five years and adding details about his childhood experiences.
