This film is the directorial debut of the two screenwriters of "Tron: Legacy," Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. Rory (played by Bradley Cooper) has been struggling to write but has never gained the favor of publishers, occasionally relying on his father's support to get by. During his honeymoon in Paris with his new wife Dora (played by Zoe Saldana), he buys a manuscript bag from a second-hand store. Rory inadvertently discovers an old novel manuscript inside, which captivates him deeply. Eventually, he claims the novel as his own and publishes it, leading to his rise as a new literary sensation. However, a mysterious man (played by Jeremy Irons) suddenly appears and informs Rory that he is the true author of the novel, sharing with him a real love story that took place in Paris, which inspired the book. Faced with all of this, Rory is engulfed by an unavoidable sense of guilt. Will he take his success for granted, or is it a moral test?
