In an apartment in Nagoya, there lives a somewhat unconventional family of three. The male head of the family, Yuk口 (played by Yo Oizumi), and the female head, Aki (played by Kumiko Asou), were the lead singer and lead guitarist of the legendary punk rock band MFG. Aki became pregnant at 17, and Yuk口, two years younger than her, proposed, willingly accepting the role of the child’s father. Since then, the two of them and their daughter Hazuki (played by Ayaka Miyoshi) have led a life full of freedom and happiness. About a year and a half ago, Yuk口 set off to travel the world after unexpectedly receiving a large compensation. Upon returning home, Hazuki experiences subtle changes within herself; she increasingly struggles to accept her father’s carefree and reckless lifestyle and attitude, which once gave her infinite love. Her good friend Tomo (played by Rina Kawai) admires Yuk口, further frustrating Hazuki. Time flows slowly, and sincere emotions quietly blossom within this honest and joyful family... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Nagoya female writer Toriko Yoshikawa.
