Kristen Stewart will star in the political thriller "Against All Enemies," portraying American actress and French New Wave short-haired goddess Jane Si Ba. Jack O'Connell, Anthony Mackie, Margaret Qualley, and Colm Meaney also participate, with Benedict Andrews ( "Una") directing. The film tells the story of the late 1960s when Si Ba became sympathetic to and supported the Black Panther Party (a leftist American civil rights organization) and had feelings for civil rights activist Hakim Jamal (played by Mackie). She caught the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and a young agent (played by O'Connell) began an investigation into her. Produced by Automatik Entertainment, with Fred Berger ("La La Land," "The Last Tycoon"), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones ("Insidious: The Last Key," "Midnight Run"), Kate Garwood, and Stephen Hopkins as producers, the screenplay is written by Joe Shrapnel & Anna Waterhouse ("Frankie and Alice"), and filming is set to begin in the summer.
