This is a story about two陌生 young people who are busy with their lives in Beijing. Chen Mo (played by Wang Lingbo) sells flowers on the street, eager to earn more money; while Mei Ting (played by Du Huanan) works in a hair salon, dreaming of one day becoming a star. However, in the end, Chen Mo is killed in a robbery by fellow townsmen, while Mei Ting continues her days working in the salon, facing life's challenges alone.
