Once a prominent rally driver, Zhang Chi (played by Shen Teng) was banned from racing five years ago for racing privately. Having fallen from grace, Zhang has tasted the hardships of life. He endures humiliation and strives to change, finally securing a ruling for his reinstatement. Afterward, he reconnects with his rally navigator Sun Yuqiang (played by Yin Zheng), who is like a brother to him, and is determined to compete in this year's Bayinbuluke Rally. However, before that, Zhang must retake his driving test, modify his car, and secure sponsorship.
