The movie consists of two short films. The wealthy man Hu Wannian (played by Wang Hancheng) has died, leaving his wife (played by Wang Lai) all alone and helpless. Hu Wannian's daughter (played by Hu Yinyin) informs her three brothers that their mother possesses a large gold ingot left by their father, worth a fortune. As a result, the three children eagerly rush to take care of their mother, but in reality, their actions are not sincere; they only wish to acquire the inheritance. Eventually, the mother passes away, having been well taken care of by her children during her life, and only then do the three men realize they have been deceived by their sister. The boss’s wife is tired of her husband’s old age and the lack of passion in their marriage.
