Xia Rushu (played by Sammi Cheng) suddenly learns of her father's (played by Adam Cheng) death one day and discovers that she has two half-sisters, Ruzhi (played by Lai Ya-yan) and Ruguo (played by Li Xiao-feng), living in Taipei and Chongqing, respectively. The three sisters, coming from different regions and having distinct personalities, meet for the first time at their father's funeral. Despite being strangers, they share a blood bond and face the wounds of their parents' divorce and the uncertainties of life. Determined to continue running their father's hot pot restaurant, Rushu finds an opportunity to truly understand her father.
