A Ding and A Guo share a brotherly bond, but they do not inquire into each other's jobs. Soon, A Guo is tasked with investigating Yang Donghai's gang, while A Ding falls for Yang's ploy and is forced to connect with drug dealers, resulting in a bloody conflict. Accused of murder, A Ding is pursued by A Guo, and after narrowly escaping, he causes A Guo to face disciplinary action from the police force. On the other hand, A Ding and A Guo are constantly pressured by their opponents in the police force, ultimately leading to their deaths. A Ding's girlfriend, Wenwen (played by Xiao Hongmei), takes risks for him, and A Ding cannot bear to leave her behind as he plans to escape abroad alone, leading to an increasingly uncontrollable situation...
