Slaughterhouse driver Rand is obsessed with finding his long-lost "wife" Alin, offering a hefty reward. Forest police officer and single mother Shang Fei, who is Rand's tenant, helps him look for his wife but to no avail, urging him to give up his obsession. Meanwhile, small-time thug A Zhe, who is attracted to the resemblance between his girlfriend Lili and Alin, plans to deceive Rand to claim the reward money and settle his gambling debts. To fund the reward, Rand mistakenly joins a poaching gang led by the slaughterhouse owner Lao You, encountering habitual poacher Lao Ba and other thugs. He experiences life-and-death situations with poaching, confronts a tiger, and ultimately abandons his obsession. He fights against the poachers and undergoes a hero's growth, while the thugs are eventually captured by Shang Fei.
