Eric (Espen Klouman-Høiner) and Philip (Anders Danielsen Lie) are longtime friends with a strong bond. Becoming writers is their shared dream, and they continue to strive for it. When Philip's manuscript was submitted, it caused a stir in the cultural scene, and he quickly became a hot figure in the industry, while Eric's manuscript sank without a trace. Philip, who has succeeded in his career, also enjoys smooth sailing in love; he and his girlfriend Kelly (Viktoria Winge) plan a vacation in Paris. Soon, however, the emptiness in life overwhelms Philip's will, and he succumbs to depression and requires hospitalization after achieving success so easily. During his treatment, Eric remains by his side, caring for and encouraging him, while also not forgetting his own dream.
