In Northeast China in 1997, the old industry is facing an era of farewell. Eighteen-year-old vocational school girl Yang Beibang (played by Bu Guanjin) is spirited and righteous, often leading a group of sisters into fights. After a confrontation in a men's bathhouse, Yang Beibang encounters her childhood friend Yu Yi (played by Liu Chang) while he's bathing, and finds herself infatuated with him, subtly hinting and pursuing him.
