Gao Ge (played by Sheng Yilun) is a tech-savvy otaku born in the '90s, filled with imaginative ideas that ordinary people cannot comprehend. Gao Ge's mother firmly believes he is the child of her and the famous singer Lo Ta-yu, and she even plans to make this matter public. To stop his mother's crazy actions, Gao Ge takes her to Shenzhen, claiming he wants to confront Lo Ta-yu in person. But unexpectedly, upon arriving in Shenzhen, Gao Ge becomes separated from his mother. Accompanied by his friends Yu Wei (played by Guo Shutong) and Dou Dou, Gao Ge embarks on a journey to find his mother, eventually reuniting with his mother's former coworkers.
