In the late Yuan Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang led a rebellion against Yuan rule. His subordinate, Shen Tiansong, attempted to present Zhu's troop formation map to the Mongolian prince Li Chahan. Li Chahan brought experts to Shaanxi to meet, while anti-Yuan patriots and the owner of the Spring Pavilion Inn in Shaanxi, the charming Wang Nian, devised strategies, disguised themselves, set up defenses, and prepared to capture the traitor and reclaim the troop formation map. Li Chahan also stayed at the Spring Pavilion Inn, and Shen Tiansong was captured right after presenting the map. The female hero, Black Peony, went to steal the troop formation map from Li Chahan but accidentally took another document. Her accomplice, Little Chili, was killed while returning the document to its original place. After noticing the issue, Li Chahan personally investigated, leading to a battle of wits and strength between the two sides, culminating in a fierce fight.
