During the reign of Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, the Unrestrained Pavilion was a place where high officials and nobles sought pleasure. The general of Yanzhou, Bai Chong (played by Wang Hongtao), spent his days there, forgetting his duties. Yunjun Fei Dan Biao (played by Wang Chi) attempted to find Bai Chong at night but was unexpectedly hit by a trap inside the pavilion. Fortunately, he was rescued by the brave man Shen Long (played by Huang Guoqiang). His daughter, Dan E (played by Yang Fengyi), inquired why Dan Biao was being pursued by soldiers, and Dan Biao revealed the truth to her. It turns out that Dan E is the daughter of the Yanzhou governor, Wen Yuan (played by Liu Zhanjia). Eighteen years ago, Bai Chong killed Wen Yuan's entire family and stole the imperial award of a gold-inlaid vase. Upon hearing this, disregarding her adoptive father's advice, Dan E boldly infiltrated the Unrestrained Pavilion at night, seeking revenge for her father's murder. Unexpectedly, she was wounded in the chest by a poisoned blade. In a moment of crisis, Shen Long reappeared and took Dan E to a doctor's home to detoxify and treat her injury, to which Dan E knelt in gratitude. Eventually, Dan E, returning to the Unrestrained Pavilion, was captured and raped by Bai Chong, who told her that Dan Biao was the real murderer of her father...
