During a family dinner, Iris learns from her 74-year-old father that he wishes for his 75th birthday to be his last. The absurd news hits her like a punch, and Iris is completely unprepared for it. As her father's birthday approaches, Iris is on the verge of a breakdown; she decides to step out of the script. She takes leave from work, moves in with her father without his permission, and tries to force him to answer a question that is very important to her: why?
