Wong Man-Chan "Dog Head" (played by Simon Yam) and He Jia-Bao "Pig Girl" (played by Jessica Hsuan) are officers of the Hong Kong CIB (Criminal Intelligence Bureau). CIB, commonly known as the paparazzi of the Hong Kong police, consists of individuals who act discreetly and appear ordinary but have an extraordinarily keen sense for catching criminals. The mission for Dog Head and Pig Girl this time is to track down the suspect of a jewelry robbery, Chen Chong-Shan (played by Tony Leung Ka-Fai). Chen Chong-Shan is a "genius" in crime, with rich experience and clever tactics for evading police capture. This CIB operation is more challenging than usual. Despite the police laying siege on all sides, Dog Head and Pig Girl exhaust their every means, yet Chen Chong-Shan repeatedly escapes. The chase feels like a never-ending game of cat and mouse. Chen seems to possess a magical ability to sense the presence of the police nearby. With officers suffering casualties during the pursuit, Dog Head and Pig Girl are desperate.
