In the early years of the Republic of China, the situation in the Northeast was complex, with warlords, bandits, and Japanese spies intermingling, each occupying territory, leaving the people in distress. Although the warlord Lin Guodong had no grand ambitions, he still possessed a patriotic heart and remained unmoved by repeated attempts from Japan to recruit him. The only place in the area that could be called a paradise was Fuxing Town, which strangely remained untouched by bandit attacks. It was rumored that this place was cursed, and any bandit who dared to offend Fuxing Town would disappear without a trace. In fact, seven martial arts masters had retired and lived in seclusion here, including the little tailor Jiao Po Si (Wang Zulun), the restaurant sisters Madonna (Ng Man-Tat) and Mai Danghong (Xie Na), the wet nurse Hua Tianjiao (Zeng Zhiwei), the Taoists Jia and Yi Bing (Yuan Hua), the cosmetics seller Xiao Laba (Zheng Zhongji), and the brothel owner Sister Daiyu (Meng Yao), each possessing extraordinary skills. They consistently eliminated the bandits, ensuring the safety of the townsfolk. Lin Guodong's daughter, Xue Er (Tong Fei), loved cooking and often came to the town to buy fresh vegetables and fruits. Due to her beauty and vivacity, she was well-liked by the heroes, especially Jiao Po Si, who instantly fell in love with her and regarded her as his dream lover. The Japanese female spy Koizumi Aoko colluded with the traitors Hong Hu, Hong Bao, and Hong Feng from the Hanhua Lodge to establish an intelligence base, using codes to transmit information back to their country. She attempted to seduce Lin Guodong and then used ninjutsu to control his mind, intending to kill Xue Er. Fortunately, Xue Er managed to escape. She fled to Fuxing Town to seek help from the Seven Heroes to rescue her father from danger. Before the Seven Heroes could decide, Aoko took the initiative to send assassins to kill them, prompting the townspeople to rise in rebellion. Even the centenarian was unwilling to be outdone by younger generations, which moved the Seven Heroes to join forces and repel the assassins. The Seven Heroes hurried to the Hanhua Lodge. On that day, Aoko had planned her wedding with Lin Guodong, intending to control Lin Guodong's army after becoming the wife of the commander. Luckily, the heroes arrived in time to disrupt the wedding. Lin Guodong regained his senses and, together with the heroes, fought fiercely against Aoko and the Hong siblings, ultimately defeating their formidable opponents! The Seven Heroes departed, and Lin Guodong also resolved to fight against Japanese forces with all his might, vowing to protect the mountains and rivers of his country.
