A mysterious disappearance of South Korea's secret nuclear weapons occurs, alongside the crash of a military aircraft carrying a portable device in China. South Korea receives intelligence that a dangerous individual nicknamed "Equator" (played by Zhang Zhen) and his assistant "Messenger" (played by Wen Yongshan) are planning a secret weapons transaction in Hong Kong. Korean weapons expert Choi Min-ho (played by Ji Zhenxi) and agent Park Woo-jin (played by Choi Siwon) are tasked with investigating. Hong Kong's counter-terrorism special unit head Li Yanming (played by Zhang Jiahui) and inspector Fan Jiaming (played by Yu Wenle) assist South Korea in searching for the weapons, while nuclear physics professor Zhao Zhiren (played by Jacky Cheung) is also invited to help with the case.
