On the vast and hot African savanna, the blue little eagle Akai (voiced by Jeremy Suarez) soars freely in the sky. He has undergone rigorous training from his father (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) and now this young fellow, with fully developed wings, yearns to become a flying expert surpassing his father. Tired of the barren Kattum Valley, Akai is unwilling to live a life merely chasing lizards for a living; he longs for an exciting adventure. One day, the weary saddle-billed stork Gua Gua passes by Akai's home with a few newly hatched golden weaver chicks. From them, Akai learns of the existence of the bird city Zambisia, and he can't help but feel enchanted. The diverse bird companions and the hurricane warriors defending Zambisia give Akai a reason to embark on his journey. The road ahead is full of twists and challenges, but nothing can stop a child from growing up…
