The southern martial arts of our country have a long-standing history, among which Wing Chun is represented by its disciple Liang Chan (played by Leung Kar Yan) in Foshan, who is skilled in medicine and known for his righteousness, earning widespread praise in the countryside. Liang Chan has a disciple named Fat Chun (played by Sammo Hung), who is simple-minded and often teased. Fat Chun's friend, Finding Money Hua (played by Casa Va), works as a cashier at Mo's Money Exchange and is always ready to stand up for justice. One day, a group of evil thugs from Jiangyang arrive in Foshan to meet with the owner of Mo's, Mo Lau Ching, plotting to kill the town mayor to seize power, which Finding Money Hua overhears. He informs the mayor, but is discovered by Mo Lau Ching’s gang, leading to the death of his elderly mother and leaving Finding Money Hua severely wounded, fortunately rescued by Fat Chun. Mo Lau Ching fears Liang Chan might intervene and is cautious, while Finding Money Hua seeks revenge.
