The three brothers of the intelligence department's eavesdropping team share a deep bond. Leung Chun-yin (played by Lau Ching-wan) is upright yet timid, muddling through personal relationship issues; Yang Zhen (played by Louis Koo) struggles with a difficult family situation, facing not only the potential emergencies of his son suffering from leukemia but also his own terminal illness; Lin Yat-kee (played by Daniel Wu) is young and ambitious, having "married into wealth," with an unlimited future ahead. The three brothers are tasked with investigating insider trading allegations against the listed company "Fenghua International." They work together excellently to set up various eavesdropping and surveillance equipment. During the ongoing monitoring, they unexpectedly obtain critical information; tempted by huge profits, they succumb to greed and make a fortune in the volatile stock market. Fearing exposure afterwards, they use their positions to destroy evidence of their crimes. Just when they believe the matter has settled, an unexpected dark hand strikes them, plunging the three into a desperate situation, leading to murderous encounters and a tragic ending. “Three muscular men” challenge their limits, with contributions from major teams (from "Infernal Affairs" and "The Detective"), creating a deeply emotional tragedy.
