Honest and earnest writer Gao Wen (played by Feng Gong) moves into a new home, but encounters a fierce and overbearing neighbor, Zhang Yongwu (played by Niu Zhenhua). Prior to this, Zhang and his wife had driven away four neighbors due to various disputes, and now no one in the building dares to confront him.
