The movie "Casino" is the eighth collaboration between renowned director Martin Scorsese and his longtime partner Robert De Niro. Sam "Ace" Rothstein (played by Robert De Niro) runs a Las Vegas casino with the belief that "gambling is a serious business." This belief leads to a thriving casino operation and makes him a powerful tycoon. However, everything changes when he marries the beautiful, greedy, alcohol-and-drug-loving former escort Ginger (played by Sharon Stone), who still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend and even sends him money. Nicky (played by Joe Pesci), a mob enforcer sent to protect Sam, constantly runs afoul of the law, is barred from entering the casino, and overestimates his own power by wanting to be the boss. Sam dismisses irresponsible employees but offends local officials; worse still, tensions with his former partners escalate. Everything leads to an unsettling situation for Sam...
