Jiang Wu shakes off his pursuers and falls into a lake, where a magnet device transports him through time to 2010. Jiang Wu, dressed in ancient attire, lands on a busy street and arrives at the Yong Wang Mansion, just as a film crew is shooting a historical drama. Because he bears a striking resemblance to the big star Yu Qingbin, he is mistaken for an actor, and a group of fans follows him.
