In New York City in 2044, the villainous Lang has colluded with an alien evil force to attempt to destroy the Earth. A large number of aliens invade through a mysterious portal, turning the city to ashes. Although the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles resist stubbornly, they are unable to withstand the enemy's onslaught, suffering heavy casualties. With the strongest weapon of a ninja—hope— the Turtles decide to return to the past and find the key to open the portal to stop Lang and restore peace to the world. Leonardo's disciple Casey takes on this mission; he successfully connects with reporter April O'Neil in the past, and reunites with the Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello to initiate the operation to save the world. "Our future, we control it ourselves," the Turtles launch the ultimate challenge against Lang.
