The Gambler, known as "Gambler" (played by Andy Lau), returns to the world of gambling with the help of Long Wu (played by Simon Yam), dedicating his skills to charity on behalf of his master. He encounters A Xing (played by Stephen Chow), who claims to be the "God of Gambling" and wishes to learn from the master. The two engage in a battle of wits, resulting in a stalemate. Hussein (played by Danny Lee), seeking revenge for his defeated adoptive father Chan Kin-chung, deceives wealthy individuals from Southeast Asia on a gambling ship under the banner of the God of Gambling, aiming to ruin his reputation.
