Lu Changfu (Cha Tae-hyun) appears to be an ordinary young man on the surface, yet he possesses an extraordinary "dynamic vision." In his childhood, due to this unusual trait, Lu Changfu often faced bullying and criticism from those around him, which wounded his young heart. He spent his days hiding at home, relying on watching TV dramas to pass the time. However, the world behind the screen is ultimately just an illusion. Eventually, Lu Changfu resolves to step out of his house and see what the real society looks like. He arrives at the Korean Surveillance Control Center, but due to his personality, he continually faces obstacles at work and has an unpleasant relationship with his colleagues. Fortunately, he befriends a PhD named Byung-soo (Woo Da-suk), who becomes his strongest supporter. With his unique ability, Lu Changfu quickly gains favor with his superiors, and one day, while monitoring the screens, he spots a girl named Soo-mi (Nam Sang-mi), and the wheel of fate begins to turn.
