International student Li Qi (played by Zhong Chuhong) travels alone from Hong Kong to New York for her studies, expecting to be picked up by her boyfriend (played by Chen Baiqiang), but instead meets a distant relative and a dock worker (played by Zhou Runfa) from Chinatown.
