The son of the God of Gambling, Sha San Shao (played by Tony Leung), and the heir to the Gambling Overlord, Ren Tianqiu (played by Ekin Cheng), decide to determine the winner of the Supreme Gambling Emperor title through a Supreme Gambling Emperor tournament, best two out of three. Sha San Shao has long been lazy and uninterested in becoming the Supreme Gambling Emperor, content to be a small character in the casino. Unsurprisingly, he suffers a crushing defeat to Ren Tianqiu in the first round. After some consideration, he decides to seek help from the God of Gambling, Xu Wenlong (played by Tony Leung Ka-fai). The housekeeper of the Sha family, Sister Xi Mei (played by Eric Tsang), also invites detective Luo Ba (played by Tony Leung Ka-fai) and the eccentric hero Yi Zhi Mei (played by Eric Tsang) to protect against assassins sent by Ren Tianqiu. To ensure victory in the upcoming matches, Sha San Shao repeatedly attempts to master secret card techniques but fails every time, and ultimately, an accident prevents him from participating in the competition. Does the Sha family just lose like this? How will Xu Wenlong and others turn the tide?
