Rex Hoffman (played by Bernard-Pierre Donnadieu) has always had a good relationship with his girlfriend, Sascha (played by Johanna ter Steege). During a trip, Diana, who went out to buy drinks, suddenly goes missing. Everyone says the disappearance is just an excuse for Diana to leave Jeff, but that doesn't stop Jeff from pursuing and searching for Diana. In the blink of an eye, three years have passed.
