Julia and Sara (played by Belen Rueda) are a pair of twin sisters. In the prime of their lives, these beautiful sisters suffer from a degenerative condition. A year ago, Sara completely lost her sight, and Julia's vision is gradually deteriorating. One dark night, Sara commits suicide by hanging. In an eerie sense, Julia feels a deep unease, and the next day she and her husband Isaac (played by Lluis Homar) drive to her sister's home, where they receive the unbelievable news. However, various signs suggest that Sara may not have died by suicide; it seems she had a mysterious man with her in her last days. Julia attempts to follow these clues, but her actions make Isaac very anxious, and her rising panic accelerates her vision loss.
