Freelance worker Micah (played by Micah Sloat) and his girlfriend Katie (played by Katie Featherston) move into a new house. Excited, Micah gets a camera to film their everyday moments. However, their excitement is soon replaced by an inexplicable sense of unease. It seems that there are other presences hiding in the empty house besides the two of them. At around two or three in the morning, the camera in the corner of the bedroom captures the strange occurrences. As time goes on, the supernatural events escalate, and Katie cannot stand it anymore and wants to move out, while Micah is excited to turn these events into a movie. He doesn't realize that by the time he truly wants to leave, it will be too late… This is the directorial debut of Oren Peli, made on a budget of only $11,000, yet it gained thousands of times in revenue through word of mouth and received an honorable mention at the 2007 Screamfest Film Festival.
