In the 1950s South Africa, during the implementation of apartheid. The film tells the story of the special relationship between the women Miriam (played by Lisa Ray) and Amira (played by Sheetal Sheth) in such a unique era. Miriam's married life is unhappy; she discovers that her husband is having an affair with her sister-in-law and can only endure it silently. Until Amira, dressed in cowboy attire, appears in her repressed life, and the two beautiful women fall in love at first sight.
