Du Hongjun (played by Fan Wei), a middle-aged man from a broken family, is a car watcher who, after reaching his forties, yearns to have a complete family again. He begins a relationship with the beautiful flower shop owner Xiao Song (played by Chen Xiaoyi). Xiao Song is also a divorced woman, and their shared wish is to quickly form a new family. Du Hongjun's son opposes his father's remarriage because he misses his mother. Nevertheless, Du Hongjun marries Xiao Song. Just as everything seems to be falling into place, Xiao Song's ex-husband Liu San is released from prison. Liu San reneges on the divorce agreement, and things start to spiral out of control...
