Adrian (played by Mario Casas) runs a technology company that is thriving, and at home he has a beautiful and virtuous wife and a lively and lovely daughter. With such success in both his career and family, he is the envy of others. However, the ambitious Adrian does not cherish his hard-earned life; he has been having a physical affair with a photographer named Laura (played by Bárbara Lennie).
One day, after a secret meeting, the two drive away from a villa but get into a car accident on the way. To cover up the truth of the incident, they decide to sink the body of a young man named Daniel, who died in the accident, along with his car into the lake. Later, Laura encounters a kind old man who takes the broken car back to his home to repair it. However, Laura does not expect that this old man is actually Daniel's father.
