The young man Feng Qiancheng (played by Guo Qilin), who works in a garage, is lowly but secretly in love with the daughter of the wealthy Guo Hao (played by Guo Degang), Guo Jialin (played by Li Xinyun). One day, Guo Hao's brother-in-law (played by Yu Qian) brings Guo Hao's car to Feng's garage for repairs and specifically assigns Feng to take responsibility. However, in order to please Guo Jialin, he secretly takes the car out for a night tour of Beijing with her. Unexpectedly, an incident occurs where someone pries open the trunk and steals a black box containing Guo Hao's wedding ring.
