Rafi (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is a photographer who makes a living by taking pictures of tourists at tourist attractions. Rafi has a very close relationship with his grandmother, who hopes to see Rafi settle down and start a family before she passes away. To comfort her, Rafi tells a little white lie; he shows her a picture of a woman from one of his tourist photos and claims that the woman is his fiancée. What Rafi didn't expect was that his excited grandmother would propose to visit and meet her future granddaughter-in-law in person. In order to maintain the lie, Rafi's immediate task is to find the woman in the photo. Eventually, Rafi finds the woman named Miloni (played by Sanya Malhotra) and asks her to play along with his story.
