Russian Miles (played by Michael Madsen) tells his Black partner that he wants to make a clean break, but the partner warns him that the company he's dealing with is untrustworthy. The debt-ridden Russian doesn’t heed this warning; he continues to use his lover Sandra (played by Asia Argento) to traffic drugs, while also checking the goods alongside Leslie's wife, Hsu (played by Lin Xilei). The two are rivals in love, leading to a discordant relationship. During a deal, Sandra unfortunately encounters a police raid, at which point Leslie steps in to help her escape from the drug den, sparking a romantic connection between them. When hope seems to arise, she personally kills her former lover and embarks on the escape route arranged by Leslie.
