Originally, Zank Gibbs's greatest wish was to have a car of his own. However, when he accidentally stumbled upon a strange watch among his father's countless inventions and secretly claimed it as his own, his magical journey began. The world around him seemed to come under a mysterious force, making time appear to stand still. Everyone was frozen in a fixed moment. Soon, Zank realized that the secret lay within this watch, and he quickly mastered the trick of manipulation. Thus, he and his new friend, the smart and beautiful Francesca, experienced carefree joy in the frozen time and space. But things were not that simple. In this space that belonged only to them, there seemed to be other mysterious figures quietly watching them from the shadows... Behind the scenes "Time Hacker" has been in planning since 1998, originally conceived as a light comedy with a theme similar to "Flubber," poking fun at scientific inventions. By 2000, the focus of the film had shifted to the slowing down and speeding up of time, clearly reflecting another manifestation of the "Matrix effect," but this time in a lively teen comedy version. A sci-fi comedy aimed at teenagers. In terms of story theme, this film has the potential for deeper exploration. In an increasingly fast-paced modern society, the element people lack the most is time, and the idea of being able to stop time and grasp it at will is quite appealing. Unfortunately, the screenwriter and director seem to have no intention of delving deeper into the film's connotation. However, with "Star Trek" actor and director Jonathan Frakes at the helm, at least the film's sci-fi visual effects are worth looking forward to. The male lead, Jesse Bradford, is a young rising star in Hollywood. At just 22 years old, he has been acting for many years, having portrayed the sons of two big stars, Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford, in "Falling in Love" (1984) and "Presumed Innocent" (1990) respectively. You can enjoy his wonderful performances in "Romeo + Juliet" and the teen hit "Swag."
